Matt Walker

Matt Walker joined Lockehouse in 2023, bringing a 20-year background in operations and management. Prior to Lockehouse, Matt ran a large Bay Area non-profit serving young people, and grew the organization significantly in his time there.

Matt has deep experience in managing and motivating individuals and teams, developing and implementing strategic priorities, and identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth.

Matt makes sure that Lockehouse operates efficiently and that information flows quickly through the organization, ensuring that every client and investor receives best-in-class, real-time market insight from a number of sources.

Prior to his non-profit career, Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy and economics from Duke University, then spent four years in the management consulting industry.

In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Olivia and Jake. He coaches any sport team that will allow it, plays golf (badly), and cheers on his Duke Blue Devils and all Bay Area sports teams. Matt is also involved in his local church, and has a Masters in Divinity degree from Fuller Seminary.
