Adria Giacomelli attended San Francisco State University where she majored in business administration and entrepreneurship. She also attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and holds a degree in Fashion Design. Adria currently represents landlords in leasing more than 3 million square feet of retail space and is a leader of Lockehouse’s Landlord Leasing and Sales Division. Before joining Lockehouse, Adria held the position of Managing Director at Newmark Cornish & Carey, specializing in landlord representation for retail centers throughout Northern California. Prior to her time at Newmark, she worked as an Associate at Grubb & Ellis, where she was responsible for retail leasing. Adria also gained valuable experience during her five years at Colliers International. Notably, she was recognized as Collier’s Rookie of the Year in 2008 and was an honoree for the 2010 Colliers National Rising Star Award. Adria has been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker for the East Bay from 2010 to 2013 and from 2015 to 2024.
A Bay Area native, Adria has spent her career living and working throughout the East Bay. She has been married to her husband, Glenn Griffin, for 30 years. They have two children, their daughter Quinncy and son Owen. Their furry family includes Huey the Newfy, Kitty the cat, and a lively group of finches.
