Nick Schmidter has been active in commercial leasing and acquisitions in Northern California, since 2007. Before joining Lockehouse, Nick was consistently a top-producing leasing agent in San Francisco.

Since joining Lockehouse in 2011, Nick has successfully represented a diverse mix of regional and national tenants, including Tarla Mediterranean Bar + Grill, Benihana, Whole Foods Market, Chuck E. Cheese, Harbor Freight Tools, The Save Mart Companies, Wingstop, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Brinker International (Chili’s Grill & Bar), WSS (Warehouse Shoe Sale), and Savers.

Nick provides full-service tenant representation, guiding clients from site identification through negotiation and lease execution. He specializes in rollout strategies for expanding brands throughout Northern California.

In addition to his tenant representation work, Nick also maintains a strong portfolio of landlord listings, partnering with some of the region’s premier developers. He takes a focused, collaborative approach to leasing, driving optimal rents, attracting high-credit tenants, and curating the right tenant mix to enhance project value.

Nick resides in Napa Valley with his wife, Hayden, their son, Miles, daughter, Evelin (“Evie”), and their dog, Ginger. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, snowboarding, fishing, abalone diving, great food and wine, and spending time with family.
